Paris, 18 June 2018 – To celebrate the launch of the new Sunlight Escape Haute Joaillerie collection, Piaget has transformed the iconic Palais d’Iéna in the heart of Paris into a sun-drenched, sun-drenched destination where summer The never-ending brightness of the heaven of day sun and night is the intensity of the day. Guests included Piaget’s international brand ambassador Jessica Chastain, advertising spokesperson Doutzen Kroes and model Coco Rocha, who escaped the hustle and bustle of Paris and joined Piaget on an immersive journey exploring the sun’s many colors and reflective women’s jewelry creations.
From sunrise to sunset, from golden hour to the Northern Lights, the path of the sun is depicted in six distinct chapters, with a Sunlight Escape emcee guiding guests through each experience. During sunrise cocktail hour, golden sunlight floods this iconic Parisian palace, and guests capture the atmosphere of the night in the mirror-gold cave. These models appear in the stunning new Sunlight Escape creation.
Prime hour brings guests into the spectacular dining room decorated in warm golden tones, and the seated dinner begins. At sunset, followed by main courses and a second fashion show, the restaurant is bathed in pink and orange light like the last rays of the sun. During blue hour, desserts are served under a shimmering blue and gold twilight sky.
One of the highlights of the night was the “Piaget Lucky Fishing Game” where guests could “fish” for Piaget diamonds. In the final chapter of the Sunlight Escape journey, blue and green neon installations and silver balloons create an atmosphere reminiscent of the mysterious and captivating lights of Borealis. Guests danced late into the night to the beat of legendary DJ and chart-topper Bob Sinclair as the lights never went out and the party went on in Piaget’s world.
