Chris Hemsworth joins the TAG Heuer family of ambassadors.

La Chaux de Fonds, 25 November 2015 – TAG Heuer is pleased to announce Chris Hemsworth as its new international brand ambassador.

The friendship between the Australian actor and the Swiss watchmaker began in the 2013 racing film Rush, in which TAG Heuer was a partner, Chris Hemsworth (Chris Hemsworth) plays Formula One driver James Hunt in it. His international presence, professionalism and authenticity make Chris the perfect embodiment of the “don’t break down under pressure” motto.

So it was natural for Jean-Claude Biver, CEO of TAG Heuer and president of the LVMH watch division, to propose that Chris be the brand’s official ambassador. It was also a natural choice for TAG Heuer to hire an Australian as its international ambassador, as the Swiss watch brand has a strong historical presence in the country. He joins the Swiss watch brand’s esteemed family of ambassadors, which includes Ronaldo, Tom Brady and Carla Delevingne.

Ahead of Christmas, an international advertising campaign will kick off with the image of Chris Hemsworth and the new in-house chronograph TAG Heuer Carrera Heuer-01.
