December, 13, 2021 – Today we launched the official match ball for the knockout stages of the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League.
The final, which will take place in St. Petersburg on Saturday, May 28, was inspired by the beautiful sky of the midnight sun during the so-called “white nights” the city is famous for from May to July. The official game ball features a thermally bonded construction, solid PU face material, diamond matrix and high quality butyl bladder.
Earlier this year, Adidas announced a significant expansion of its relationship with UEFA to sponsor UEFA Euro 2024. The expansion also includes an official partnership with UEFA Women’s from 2021 to 2025, covering all UEFA Women’s competitions.
