Bold away kit is second chapter of partnership with Tomorrowland.

23 September 2022 – With anticipation for the 2022 FIFA World Cup building, adidas, the Royal Belgian Football Association (RBFA) and Tomorrowland are proud to present the second chapter of their unique collaboration, revealing the new away kit for the Belgian Red Devils . With this kit, the Belgian Red Devils and related partners intend to make a positive, fun declaration of love during turbulent times.

Continuing the long history of Belgium’s away jersey, the bottom of the jersey is white. As seen in the football-inspired holiday collection in Chapter 1, this holiday-inspired football jersey features the LOVE logo and a bold graphic print. The graphic print is inspired by Tomorrowland’s famous fireworks display and symbolizes the shared values of diversity, equality and inclusion. The Belgian Red Devils will make their debut against the Netherlands in the Nations League on September 25.

Design details

Bold graphic prints not only appear on the collars, sleeves, sides and tape of jerseys and shorts, but are even boldly used in the adidas logo and federation crest, complementing LOVE’s positive statement. Even the player’s name and number or your choice of printing can be printed with bold graphics for those who really want to stand out when they put on their jersey.

For the first time, the Belgian Red Devils’ product lineup includes authentic game kits – as worn by the team – as well as replicas. Both feature a high quality 3D silicone version of the federation crest.

For an authentic fit, the devil is in the details, with rich fabrics, raised and multi-colored three-stripes, woven sleeves, and a slightly different graphic print on each piece, making each piece unique. Genuine jerseys feature the LOVE mark as a neckline detail on the inside neckline of the jersey.

On the replica jersey, it’s on the outside of the jersey. LOVE, with the Tomorrowland logo as the letter O, is a subtle call to remind everyone to celebrate life and each other more. For the Belgian Red Devils, the main shorts and socks are white, with purple shorts and socks as an alternative. The shorts also have bold graphic prints, but only for the biggest fans because they’re too bold to meet the governing body’s regulations. The Belgian Red Devils’ jerseys will feature purple player names and numbers.

About the Royal Belgian Football Association:

As the largest sports federation in the country, with more than half a million members, the Royal Belgian Football Association represents 4,000 football clubs. Together with the regional federations ACFF (Association des Clubs Francophones de Football) and Voetbal Vlaanderen, the RBFA organizes around 12,000 matches per weekend, including, of course, the matches of our national teams. The Belgian Red Devils and the Red Flames are our ambassadors.

By launching the Come Together plan in March 2021, in collaboration with the regional federations, the RBFA has adopted a global strategy to fight as effectively as possible against all forms of discrimination that unfortunately still occur on and around our fields. Thanks to this initiative, we now have an easily accessible and user-friendly contact form for victims and witnesses on our websites and our RBFA app, and we organize numerous training sessions for the different football stakeholders to raise awareness of this problem and to help them to react in the best possible way when faced with it. We have also set up the National Chamber against discrimination and racism, a body that has been active since the 2021-2022 season. This federal body is made up of lawyers and experts in the field and deals exclusively with all matters relating to discrimination and racism at all levels of our amateur and professional football.
