This porcelain-faced beauty with a megawatt smile is one of the most sought-after entertainers among producers and directors. She was already a top model when she started her TV hosting and film career.

Chi-ling grew up in a close-knit family and left Taiwan at the age of 15 to earn a double degree from the University of Toronto. Her screen debut in famed director John Woo’s “Chibi” earned her recognition for her on-screen efforts.

Incredibly hardworking and versatile, and as a generalist, it’s not hard to imagine her being the next big thing to hit the international stage. Her debut ad featuring Academy Award winner Kate Winslet and Indian actress Aishwarya Raibachan will pave her way internationally.

Effectively multilingual, speaking English, Chinese, Cantonese and Japanese, Chi Ling is not one to rest on her laurels. Career

From 1999, Lin Chiling started her entertainment modeling career and is one of the most famous models in Asia.

2004

Her popularity and career shot sky high when she appeared as ambassador for various brands such as Olay, China airlines etc. She started hosting TV shows and many important awards ceremonies such as Golden Horse Awards, Golden Bell Awards, Asian Film Awards and many more.

2004 – 2010

For more than 6 years, Zhiling has served as the charitable spokesperson for 60 charities including Procter & Gamble Breast Cancer Prevention Association “6 Minutes of Life” (Taiwan), World Vision’s Orphan Hope Project, and Yahoo Charity Website. She has been making her limited edition calendar since 2009 and donating the proceeds to charity.

2008 – 2010

Lin got her first acting role in a movie called “Red Cliff,” an historical film directed by John Woo. She played the part of Xiaoqiao, making it her first time acting. Lin also starred in Jay Chou’s action-adventure film, “The Treasure Hunter,” in 2009. In 2010, she appeared as a country girl in the third Chinese comedy movie she was in, “Welcome to Shama Town.” Chi Ling became famous for her role in the Japanese TV love story drama “Moon Lovers,” which she starred in alongside mega star Kimura Takuya.

2006 – present

Chi Ling was invited to serve as the ambassador of Longines China’s elegant image. With her elegant demeanor and fashionable style, she fully reflects the elegant style of Longines. In 2009, Lin Chiling was promoted to one of the Longines International Elegance Ambassadors. In July 2010, Chiling Lin, Kate Winslet and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan shot together the Longines DolceVita campaign, which made headlines around the world.
