Demetrio Guerrero joined Dos Casas on April 2021–for the second time. Demetrio and his team’s duty, including the delightful Concierge Denisse Ivette Flores, is not just to accommodate a stay at Dos Casas in San Miguel de Allende but to create an experience to remember, honoring the awards given by Condé Nast Traveler for 5 years in a row.

Whatever question or concerns you may have, rest assured that the ever ready and delightful Front Office manager, Demetrio will be happy to assist you. Directions? Okay! So it’s usually two blocks to the right or left, then left or right then straight ahead till you see the Parroquia–even manageable for those of us directionally challenged. Then again, he is ready with a map for the more adventurous journey. With good humor, Demetrio will direct you to restaurants, cafes (although Áperi at the Dos Casas is hard to beat), boutiques, shops, and unusual venues. Demetrio even personally went to the pharmacy to obtain a knee bandage for a guest.

Born and raised in San Miguel de Allende, his tourism background starts in his parent’s guest house, when, as a child he started meeting foreigners making them feel like a part of the family. As a true local in town, he could recommend where to get the best street tacos and “Out of the map” cantinas locations, all the way to the top notch restaurant and activities in San Miguel.

Demetrio Guerrero is an undeniable asset to Dos Casas and to San Miguel.
