London, 24 January 2022. H.R. Owen Bugatti London will deliver three Chiron Super Sport 300+ models to its customers in January, representing 10% of the limited edition total.

The Chiron Super Sport 300+ was first introduced to the world in 2019, when it became the first car from a production manufacturer to break the 300-mph barrier, and was announced in the hands of official Bugatti test pilot Andy Wallace. Driving a world record of 304.773 mph. Shortly thereafter, it was announced that only 30 of the Chiron Super Sport 300+ will be hand-built and shipped to customers worldwide.

To reach its world record speed, the Chiron Super Sport 300+ has a series of carefully designed upgrades. Most notably, the streamlined body has been redesigned to accommodate the “long tail,” which helps maintain an even flow of air over the car for stability at high speeds. A new shape and a set of vertical exhaust pipes allow for a 32 percent larger diffuser, which helps further increase downforce.

The legendary 8.0-liter W16 engine has been upgraded to a total of 1,600 hp, with beefed-up pistons, a larger turbocharger and an oil pump that operates at higher pressures – 100 hp more than the Chiron.

The Chiron Super Sport 300+ is characterized by its unique livery. Compared to the Super Sport, which shares a long-tail body, the Super Sport 300+ is finished in black carbon fiber, complemented by a Jet Orange racing stripe that runs along the center of the car. The carbon continues to flow into the car’s hood and even into the windshield wipers.

Other accents complete the 300+’s design, including genuine silver and black enamel Bugatti “Macaron” logos and solid magnesium alloy wheels painted in a custom color called “Nocturne.”

The sold-out Chiron Super Sport 300+ vehicles are being built at Bugatti’s headquarters in Molsheim, France, each starting at a net price of 3.5 million euros.
