Adam Ambruso is a great actor and producer, main character in the movie Butterfly Caught, by Sony Pictures which won ‘Best Ensemble Film’ at the San Diego International Film Festival; the film is about three beautiful actresses who embark on a mission to enter the artistic life of Los Angeles, he plays the role of ‘Randy’ and together they discover that the road to stardom has a very high price. Recently he filmed The Great Race, a film about the Great Race of Mercy of 1925, where a group of brave flights 700 miles to save the small children of Alaska, a deadly epidemic of diphtheria. It is also starred by Treat Williams, Henry Thomas and Bruce Davison. And if that were not enough, he also appears in the movie Who Took My Daughter, on Lifetime Channel.
Previously, he participated as an actor and executive producer in the feature film Trafficked, by Epic Pictures, which deals with the global human trafficking crisis through the story of three young women from different parts of the world; Ashley Judd, Sean Patrick Flanery, Elisabeth Röhm and Ann Archer also perform on the film. Other credits from Adam include the drama Running Wild (with Sharon Stone, Tommy Flanagan and Jason Lewis) and the horror and science fiction film Atomic Shark for the television channel SyFy (with performances by Jeff Fahey and David Faustino).
Adam is not one of the people who sits waiting for the projects to reach him, on the contrary, he is very proactive; now, he is focusing on writing a superhero movie set within the DC Comics universe.
Adam is a native of Austin, Texas and a graduate of the University of Texas. He is an enthusiast of outdoor activities, participates in sports such as snowboarding, water skiing and soccer. He also enjoys playing his guitar and exercising his voice.
