Puerto Rican salsa singer Edgar Daniel continues to grow in his musical career and today releases the music videofor his single ” Por Qué Regresas” on the univision network’s Primer Impacto program.
“Very happy for the support received and eager to know the comments of the public” explains the artist who made the music video in New York with different shots touring the Big Apple.
“Por Qué Regresas” composition by Edgar Daniel himself tells the story of a love that reappears after being overcome, mobilizing the heart of the singer.
This song will give you a Puerto Rican vibe and dancing spirits. In addition to reaffirming himself as a singer-songwriter, Edgar Daniel has worked as co-producer of his latest productions. He has also written songs for the renowned international salsa player, Maelo Ruiz.
The singer, before launching as a soloist, was always sponsored by the internationally renowned artist “Tito Rojas”,better known as “El Gallo Salsero”, after his death Edgar paid tribute to him with his song “Yo no te olvido”. Puerto Rico is the cradle of both and thanks to the salsa they came together generating a very strong bond.

At the age of 13 his passion for music grew which led him to be part of the choir of the church he attended and to participate in the “talent shows” of his school, where he won several awards.
At 18 years of age, his first great opportunity arises: to be part of the renowned “Orquesta Internacional de Pedro Conga”, being one of the main vocalists and recording his first production “Peligroso” achieving success with this production he records the second production with the orchestra entitled “That I like” and obtains the success “Amor a primera vista” managing to place himself in the first places of the radio both in Puerto Rico and in America Latin and Europe and performing in the best scenarios.
Edgar Daniel presented his first solo production under the Musical Productions label entitled “Controversial”. Nuanced with eleven songs full of rhythm, cadence and unparalleled flavor, “Me extrañarás” and “Cuando baje la marea” were the hits that led Edgar Daniel to place himself in one of the favorites of the public.
In the same year he was also nominated for the BILLBOARD LATIN MUSIC AWARDS with “Me extrañarás” as SONG OF THE YEAR and as TROPICAL REVELATION ARTIST for the PREMIOS LO NUESTRO.
Edgar Daniel presented his second production “Virgo” with which he was conquering more ground in Latin America, managing to place himself in the first positions of Colombian radio with the song “Mentiras” for more than nine consecutive weeks and reaching the first position.
This young salsa singer surprised with a masterful production, “A lo Picasso” where all the themes were of his authorship. It was the album that opened the doors in countries such as Ecuador, Peru and Mexico, where his music began to be heard on the airwaves.
In 2015, Edgar Daniel presented his fourth production “Caminos” which is composed of a wide variety of songs that includes compositions by new talents, renowned composers and his authorship as the first single of this compilation “No me digas nada”.
