The Ecuadorian actor opens his life in a pleasant interview with Spanish presenter Mar Saura for “Vivir es Increíble” by @gnpseguros

There are transcendental moments in the life of every person in which he must face the dilemma of continuing to walk a path of predictable comfort or taking the alternative of self-discovery. Roberto Manrique, an Ecuadorian actor who conquered the screens and stole sighs throughout Latin America playing the doctor ‘Santiago Sanín’ in the successful series “Sin senos no hay paraíso” and “El final del paraíso” knows this very well.

But what does this talented actor now devote his impetus and efforts to? In the most recent live broadcast of “Vivir es increíble”, hosted by Spanish actress, businesswoman and presenter Mar Saura through @gnpseguros on Instagram, we discovered it.

The beginning of this live was in style, because it had as special guests two charming dogs: Willow, the adorable Pomeranian who usually accompanies Mar Saura in his links, and Chancho, a handsome boxer owned by a friend of Roberto Manrique. In this way, the positive mood and fluid communication were evident throughout the broadcast, which has been giving voice to the most renowned personalities of our region for more than two years.

Thus, to start the interview, Mar Saura highlighted the important moment that Roberto Manrqiue is currently experiencing, to which he replied: “I am in a moment of new energies and beginnings. After several attempts and many years of trying, I have managed to move to Mexico City, a place I love.”

In this regard, the Ecuadorian heartthrob commented that his change of residence was also animated by the desire to continue realizing personal dream, which gave rise to Mar Saura to ask an important question: “When one is very excited to realize a project, is there room for fear?” Roberto Manrique commented: “Yes there is room: fear is made to be overcome. The most important thing is that fear does not paralyze you, as well as putting the emphasis on managing time and energy so that everything arises in the best way.”

Roberto Manrique’s new green missionIn

this way, the conversation focused on the Ecuadorian’s current project, Juntos x la Tierra, which described the Spanish celebrity and the entire audience as follows:

“In 2019 I traveled from Quito to Santiago de Chile exchanging house, food and transportation with the promise of planting trees in return. So I managed to raise a debt that amounted to 33,494 trees to be planted. In 2021 I launched the Together x Earth campaign, which aims to fulfill that promise and plant them.”

And it is that Manrique surprised his own and strangers by momentarily pausing his promising acting career to devote himself to self-discovery and the realization of altruistic goals such as those established by Together x the Earth.

However, despite the respite that has been given, he does not stop thanking the productions and characters that have allowed him to become a recognized personality who today advocates for a better planet. This was made clear when answering the following question from Mar Saura: “The character that has marked you, what would it be?”

“For now I’m going to go with Santiago Sanín,” Manrique replied without hesitation, “because it also belongs to a novel that marked a before and after,” he said.

And although the unexpected outcome of this character perplexed both the interpreter himself and many of his followers, Roberto Manrique is clear about one thing:
Living is incredible, without a doubt. I am convinced of this because it is a call that makes us grow, “said the Ecuadorian, in order to give way to the closure of this broadcast that, twice a week, brings together Mar Saura with the most outstanding artists, athletes, producers and musicians through the Instagram account of @gnpseguros
