Julián Gil joins the celebration of Premios Juventud 2022
The actor and host is summoned to celebrate the best of Latino entertainment in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in the most anticipated event of the summer.
On a night under the stars, actor and host Julián Gil has been summoned to the gala of the Premios Juventud 2022 to be held in San Juan, Capital of Puerto Rico.
The event will be held at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, José Miguel Agrelot, popularly known as the “Choliseo”, on Thursday, July 21 and will be broadcast at 7:00PM / 6c through the Univision network in the United States, TeleOnce in Puerto Rico and in Mexico by Las Estrellas.
Julian will not be surprised by his fans during this special night, preceded by the arrival of the stars on the purple carpet.
“Happy for TelevisaUnivision’s invitation to recognize and celebrate Latino culture in Puerto Rico, Mi Isla del Encanto. The Premios Juventud has emerged as the great event with the best of Latin entertainment, where the public chooses their favorites. It is the most anticipated event of the summer,” Gil said.
Packed with dazzling performances by great Latin artists, this edition will feature a heartfelt tribute to Jenni Rivera on the tenth anniversary of her passing by regional Mexican music stars Banda MS and Grupo Firme. Natti Natasha, the global powerhouse of Latin music, will perform on stage with a vibrant performance alongside a surprise guest. The evening will continue with more highlights including the world premiere of the song “La opinión es tuya” by reggaeton star Farruko and sensational DJ Adoni, featuring El Alfa and La Perversa. Urban stars Feid, Tainy and Lenny Tavárez will join the iconic reggaeton duo Wisin and Yandel in an unmissable musical number.
This year, Premios Juventud will recognize the Jenni Rivera Love Foundation as an “Agent of Change” for its outstanding work in helping women and children who have been victims of abuse and domestic violence. Jacqie and Johnny Rivera, children of the late singer who continue to honor her legacy, will receive recognition from the foundation. Famed influencer Juanpa Zurita will also receive the coveted distinction for using his internet fame to spearhead humanitarian campaigns that help alleviate famine in Somalia and provide recovery efforts in Mexico after the earthquake. Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Kany Garcia, who has been actively raising awareness about mental health and gender violence and inequality, will also be recognized as an “Agent of Change.” They join fellow honorees Wisin and Yandel, who were previously announced. Also performing this year are: La Adictiva, Alejo, El Alfa, Ángela Aguilar, CNCO, Manny Cruz, Feid, Luis Figueroa, Sergio George, Grupo Firme, Kenia Os, Danna Paola, Yahaira Plasencia, Lenin Ramírez, Mau y Ricky, Robi, Prince Royce, Michael Stuart, and Luis Vázquez.
