Tell us a little about yourself.
“I am originally from Colombia, and I came to the United States 18 years ago. I came loaded with a suitcase full of dreams. My daughters are my everything, they are who I get up every morning to work for and to make life better for others.”
What was your life like in Colombia?
“My childhood was the best, it was unique. I do not see what I experienced very often now. I lived very well thanks to God and I was very happy.”
What encouraged you to become a real estate agent?
“Since I left Colombia, I always had a passion for sales. When I got to Miami, I really liked private yachts. When I worked on them, they felt like floating houses. And from there on, I thought, ‘God, how can I incorporate this and help people?’ I started the real estate course and I
focused more on houses because it is an easier dream for people, not everyone can access a yacht. I am passionate about delivering suevos, and that is a dream of all Latinos to have their own home. Sometimes we arrive and we don’t have that guidance, so I love guiding those
people to make it come true.”
How did you start incorporating interior design into your real estate agent career?
“I have always liked decoration. Clients always ask me for advice and what I recommend. I became passionate about it. I like to provide a complete package, that is not only the house, but also guidance on how to decorate it ”
What is your interior design style?
Modern style, minimalistic. There are a lot of farmhouses over there in Atlanta. Its what its trending right now over there
Can you give us any interior design tips?
It’s important to know that every person is different and has their own sense of style Nidia loves amplius spaces. When there is abundant light it makes the spaces look amplius. Light colors on small spaces to make them look bigger.
What keeps you motivated?
“My daughters are my engine. I love serving others. Through my work, I want to benefit not only the people who I see houses to but also the people who work with me.”
What is your ultimate goal, personal and career wise?
“My purpose in life is whatever God has for me. Personally, I want to watch my daughters grow up and get married. Professionally, I want to be able to continue helping more families. I also want to start a business and develop in the real estate and design industry ”
Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
“Professionally, I see myself retired in more than ten years, continuing to help people. Money will come, but I’m not just helping others for the money.”

Cuéntenos un poco sobre usted.
“Soy Colombiana, llegue hace 18 años a los Estados Unidos. Vine cargada de una maleta llena de sueños. Mis hijas son mi todo, por quienes me levanto cada mañana a trabajar y a hacer la vida mejor para otros”
¿Cómo fue su vida en Colombia?
“Mi infancia fue la mejor, fue única. No lo veo muy común ahora ver todo lo que viví. Viví muy bien gracias a Dios, muy feliz”
¿Qué le animó a convertirse en agente inmobiliario?
“Desde que salí de Colombia siempre tuve una pasión por las ventas. Cuando llegué acá, en Miami, me gustaban mucho los yates privados y cuando trabajaba en ellos me parecían como casas flotantes. Y desde ahí pensaba bueno como puedo incorporar esto y ayudar a personas.
Fue ahí cuando empecé el curso de bienes raíces. Entonces me enfoque más en casas porque es un sueño más fácil para las personas, no todos pueden acceder a un yate. Me apasiona entregar suevos, y ese es un sueño de todos los latinos de tener casa propia. Y a veces
llegamos y no tenemos esa guianza, entonces eso me encanta guiar a esas personas a hacerla realidad”
¿Cómo empezó a incorporar el diseño de interiores en tu carrera de agente inmobiliario?
“Siempre me ha gustado la decoración, los clientes me piden ese consejo de ‘tu que me recomiendas?’ me empecé a apasionar. Me gusta proveer un paquete completo, que no solo la casa si no como decorarla también”
¿Qué la mantiene motivada?
“Mis hijas son mi motor. El servir a los demás, que por medio de mi trabajo muchas personas puedan beneficiarse no solo a las personas que les entregó la casa sino también las personas quienes trabajan conmigo
¿Cuál es su objetivo final, tanto personal como profesional?
“El propósito mío en la vida Dios me lo tiene. Personalmente, ver a mis hijas crecer, casadas, realizas. Profesionalmente, poder seguir ayudando a más familias, también a más personas a que saquen un emprendimiento y se desarrollen en la industria de bienes raíces y diseño”
¿Dónde se ve en 5 a 10 años?
“Laboralmente me veo retirada en mas o menos diez años, siguiendo ayudando a la gente. Y que el dinero trabaje para mí, yo no para el dinero”.
