Los Angeles, California, – Puerto Rican actress Kiara Liz makes her American film debut with the premiere of the film ‘Panama’, joining Hollywood stars Cole Hauser and Mel Gibson.
The film production directed by Mark Neveldine (from the series “Crank”) is an action thriller that revolves around James Becker (Hauser), a rough and decorated ex-Marine who is sent undercover by his former commander, Stark (Gibson) to execute a high-value deal with unreliable adversaries. The screenplay is written by Daniel Adams and William R. Barber.
“Excited and happy for my debut in Hollywood with the film Panama, alongside big stars like Cole Hauser and Mel Gibson. My character is called Camila, she is the girlfriend of ‘Becker’ Cole Huaser. He arrived from Colombia to Panama fleeing his demons. She learned to earn a living at the expense of her body but despite being very immersed in her reality she hopes to have a better life. She is malicious, independent and impulsive,” the actress said.
Kate Katzman, Charlie Weber, Victor Turpin, Mauricio Henao and Néstor Rodulfo are also part of the cast of the film, filmed in Puerto Rico.
The film is produced by Hollywood filmmakers Jordan Beckerman, Jordan Yale Levine, Michelle Chydzik Sowa, Michelle Reihel, Shaun Sanghani and Frances Lausell, under the Yale Productions label.
Recently Kiara premiered “Billonario sin Amor”, the new film she stars in, by the Colombian writer Gustavo Bolívar (creator of the series: Sin tetas no hay paraíso, Sin senos sí hay paraíso, El capo, Pandillas, guerra y paz, Los Victorinos, Tres Caínes, among others). The film of the production house One Movie One Film, produced by Jim McNamara, Carolina Bilbao and David Impelluso, under the direction of Jaime Segura. It is available on the Pantaya streaming platform.
He is currently in Mexico recording ‘La mujer del diablo’ series of TelevisaUnivision by producer Carlos Bardasano, written by Leonardo Padrón.
Internationally, Kiara is remembered for being the winner of the reality show Mira Quién Baila and for being the behind-the-scenes host of the show ¿Quién es la Máscara?. Both univision network programs in 2020. Currently, we see her in the new season of Mira Quién Baila, but this time as a backstage driver.
Importantly, Kiara won the national title of Miss Puerto Rico Universe 2018, representing the Island of Enchantment, at the Miss Universe pageant in Bangkok, Thailand.
