Isabela Córdoba is one of the most beautiful women in Colombia and not only for her beauty but for her talent and honestly we can say that her charismatic way of being. Isabela is a Colombian film, theater and television actress, recognized for her participation in television series such as “La magia de Sofía“, her most remembered role in “Vecinos“, “Polvo carnavalero” and “Garzón vive“. For us it is a great honor to have her on our cover, adorning this new edition of our Lavishly Style magazine!
How did your television career begin?
My career in television began more than 15 years ago with the television programmer RTI that existed in Colombia, within my project is “the Most Holy” and then I made a very nice, very big character that was gratifying for me: the “Tata” in Neighbors with the Caracol channel.
What role has your acting career played?
The character of Tata from Neighbors, after 10 years of having played this character people still have a lot of memory of the character. Another very important one that marked me was They lived in “Emergency Room” with RCN, this character had a very strong tragedy when he suffered an acid attack on his face, a character that was of great challenge to represent and great responsibility.
We know you have an Instagram channel, what encouraged you to do it?
Some time ago with Kike Trujillo who is a wonderful stylist and great friend of mine and I gave us to create a channel of makeup tips, beauty, we did it a few seasons, it went very well, but then for work commitments more than all mine we could not continue, but it was a cool, fun experience, Especially because he gave his perspective from makeup artist and I from actress on beauty tips according to the physiognomy of each person.
One of your great productions was “Vecinos” seen again in Colombia recently, how was this character and why does it mark your career so much?
La Tata is a character that I thank him very much because he marked my career with big foot, he was the first big character I did, I think many people felt identified and that’s why even 10 years after having played him he has a lot of memory
How is your profession going abroad, what have you been doing outside of Colombia?
Very nice projects are coming for 2023, a film with production in Italy that has a very important social impact is coming.
On the other hand I just came from Mexico to do a couple of chapters with 40 and 20 which is a very funny Mexican comedy series, it already has 9 seasons. Very beautiful doors are opening, I’m preparing a lot.
Talking more about yourself, how do you take care of your body?
With respect to this question very interesting things happen, because not only do I take care of my body, I take care of everything, this implies taking care of the mind, the soul, the spiritual part of the body. Care should be comprehensive.
As for the care of the body I do it training at least 4 times a week, I try to eat as well as possible, fruits, vegetables, proteins, a lot of water intake. I think the body is a reflection of what is inside, of the care we have with ourselves so it is an integral care. Health starts within.
When it comes to sports, how are you doing?
I think that exercise is a mental process as well as physical, my mind quiets me a lot, which I think is important to be balanced in all aspects, so I train for many years, I stop gradually for a couple of months and I go back and start, in general I have always had a regular exercise routine that has always helped me. Exercise is vital for everything.
We know you’re a mother, how is this experience in your life?
Motherhood has changed my life in all aspects, I was a very young mother, this awakened a conscience in me, it is the most beautiful thing that has happened to me, I have grown through understanding what it is to be a mother, in showing a way to another person to another human being, Jero and Paloma are the greatest gifts I have had, So the role as a mother I appreciate what I live, they believe and I grow as a woman and as a mother.
Being a mother is a great challenge, but it is important and it is something I love to do, I am quite a caregiver, I love this process that I have had with them and I live it like any woman who is an entrepreneur, she does her profession is a mother is a housewife.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I really enjoy sharing with my children, playing, going to the park, eating ice cream, going to the movies, I love dancing and sharing with good friends.
What projects are coming for this year 2024?
The first quarter of the year I start with the film that I told you before, a very interesting character for his work and very important social impact, this requires energy and respect for the people who have lived this story, so this and more comes in 2024, which is loaded with many, many blessings, of many projects, of a lot of work, so I hope we can enjoy them and share them together.
What message do you leave for the readers of this special?
The most important and biggest message is that life is short and wonderful, so we must take advantage of it, do our best as human beings, love each other, love each other, respect each other, a little more kindness and tolerance with others and ourselves.
