Maria Teresa Carreno Martinez, Beauty is my mission in this life!

Maria Teresa Carreno Martinez was born in the land of the Incas and the sacred valleys, she arrived from Peru to the United States in the two thousand and three. Her two children Johana and Carlos are her adoration and fruit of the love of her life with her husband Carlos have a beautiful granddaughter who is the light of her eyes and brings her crazy with love with just 5 years.

How long have you been married?

(Smile) time of marriage..it makes me laugh we have been married three times, we have 32 years years together! Since 1991 I like to get married!!

The last time we got married was in 2012 in Peru. We have never separated, it just makes us want to get married and we do I like to feel that emotion, it is like reviving and strengthening our love, we make new vows as who says we renew the contract, Concludes (with eyes radiant with joy that shows his love).

How did your love for beauty begin?

Well I arrived with her nursing degree and with it, time I discovered my passion, being a beautician! and teacher by vocation since I also teach the new generations, my success has always been to share what I learned, so began my path in the world of beauty, thanks to my work I was able to work with great personalities and have them in my hands and be able to see how their careers and lives took off, I feel fortunate to be able to give back to people that desire to grow,  succeed and get ahead after I take care of them.

What is beauty for you?

Beauty for me is the quality that all human beings have, there beauty in every area of the planet, you can see, feel, smell, admire.

If I defined physical beauty, for me, it would be the harmony of feelings, emotions, detachment and acceptance of oneself, when everything is fine inside we look beautiful on the outside!

And since when did you open your spa?

We opened Skin Spa on January 3, 2018 but dedicated to aesthetics with Platelet Rich Plasma since 2009, I am so happy with our success that we are already thinking of opening a new place soon, I would love to bring the concept of Regenerative aesthetics to all people and that they can learn that looking good does not have to be difficult or expensive.

I love my profession, for many reasons, first it allows me to help make people feel good, the concept of beauty is not only the physical part or the outside, it is more integral, true beauty starts from within, to feel good about yourself, it is emotional, if you are not well or you feel good,  that is reflected in your exterior, that’s why the concept of Skin Spa is integral, we do everything to achieve success in each patient, it fascinates me because we rescue the beauty that every human being has and that by the routine of the day to day they forget themselves, and I also like it because I lose track of time when I am with my patients.

Beauty is sculpting your soul, your inner self and giving way to it to shine on the outside.
