El Salvador, October 17, 2022 – El Salvador is preparing for the XVIII graduation ceremony of the students of the Luis Vega Makeup Academy beauty school, where it will have the outstanding presence of actor Arap Bethke, protagonist of ‘Juego de Mentiras’, (the new Telemundo series), as host of the event.
The Graduation Gala will take place in the City of Soyapango, Casa del Parque, on Sunday, October 30, at 7:00 PM. Arap will not be missed by his fans during this night, pre “Trick or Treat”, and will be sharing with his audience during the event.

Luis Vega is one of the most experienced professional makeup artists in El Salvador, and founder of the first Makeup Academy in the Central American country, who has also stood out internationally by participating in important events such as Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and beautifying iconic celebrities in music, such as Mexican singer Yuri.
Recently, Vega celebrated 27 years of career as a makeup artist, a career he dedicates to his mother for the unconditional support she has given him since its inception. Undoubtedly, Vega is a reference for new artists who venture into this world as exciting as makeup. Salvadoran host Luciana Sandoval will join and share the same stage, where Arap Bethke will be, to present the Graduation Gala. The graduation event is held one night before Halloween, so the ceremony will be set in “Trick or Treat.”
Arap Bethke born in Kenya and raised in Mexico, currently filming in Miami ‘Juego de Mentiras’, the new Telemundo series, a thriller full of intrigue, mystery, passion and love starring the Kenyan-Mexican histrion. Bethke is known in El Salvador and internationally for his work on series and novels such as ‘Mujer de Nadie’ (2022), ‘Buscando a Frida’ (2021) ‘La Usurpadora’ (2019), ‘La Piloto’ (2017, 2018), ‘Club de Cuervos’ on Netflix (2015), and the films ‘Mal de Ojo’ (2022), ‘Sin Origen’ (2020), ‘Guadalupe Reyes’ (2019) and ‘No Returns Accepted’ (2013). Soon premieres the series ‘The Rebellion of the Wives’ and the film ‘Allowed’, both for the ViX platform.
Throughout his ascending and impeccable acting career he has to his credit more than 12 films and over 25 productions for television and OTT digital platforms. His outstanding work in film, television and theater has given him several awards and recognitions. He has been the face of international brands for advertising campaigns, in addition to presenting multiple television programs and awards ceremonies.
He was appointed Ambassador of the Environment in Mexico by The Climate Project Mexico, founded by Al Gore. He is also a spokesperson for “The Climate Reality Project” joining Nobel laureate and former U.S. Vice President Al Gore at the eighth edition of the event “24 Hours of Reality broadcast, Protect Our Planet, Protect Ourselves.” Recently, the Arap was chosen among “The 100 most influential Latinos and committed to climate action 2021”.
Bethke’s outgoing personality is the perfect combination for her hobbies, which include surfing, biking and motorcycling, cooking, and traveling. He thoroughly enjoys reading books and watching movies.
