Designed by Humbert & Poyet – awarded the French Design 100 logo – Coquelicot will feature an impressive outer deck, three double cabins with marble bathrooms and an indoor lounge with a champagne bar for your meals and relax. The gem of the boat is the upper deck with two lounges, an open plan kitchen and a shaded dining area, all ideal for guests to relax and recharge as the boat winds its way through the area’s tranquil waterways . A collaboration with Maison Ruinart further enhances the experience of this refined setting, immersing you in the oldest champagne house in the world. Guests have exclusive access to Ruinart’s Taissy vineyard, first mentioned in the Maison’s archives in 1733. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn about Ruinart’s pioneering Viti forestry project in partnership with Reforest’Action, and admire artist Nils Udo’s unique creation, titled “Habitat.”

Among the many special events offered to Coquelicot guests is a full lunch prepared by Ruinart Chef Valérie Radou and Coquelicot Executive Chef aboard the luxury cruise ship. The five-course culinary experience includes seasonal dishes inspired by local cuisine and paired with famous cuvées such as Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs and Dom Ruinart Rosé.

Coquelicot, A Belmond Boat, Champagne will debut in May 2023, complementing Belmond’s unparalleled range of boats in France, offering extraordinary experiences in Canal du Midi, Camargue and Burgundy.
