Measuring over 8cm high, 31cm long and 13cm wide, this LEGO Technic Bugatti racing car set comes as 905 pieces and is packed with intricate details and exciting accents. These include scissor doors, aero wheels with low profile tires, a detailed cockpit with swivel steering wheel and a detailed W16 engine with moving pistons.

Wiebke Ståhl, Managing Director at Bugatti International, said: “The LEGO Technic model of the Bugatti Bolide² is an expression of a perfect partnership between our brands. Bugatti is renowned the world over for its leadership in continuously raising the bar across numerous spheres, including design, performance and engineering. These core values are matched by LEGO, a leader in its respected field, and are illustrated perfectly when pairing the Bugatti Bolide to its LEGO model.”

Available in black and yellow, the LEGO Technic Bugatti Bolide pays homage to the favorite colors of company founder Ettore Bugatti, who used this timeless combination for many of his personal vehicles. It’s rounded off with authentic decals that recreate the ultimate evolution of Bugatti’s “form follows performance” design philosophy.

Numerous air vents and the Bolide’s elegant front end, including Bugatti’s famous horseshoe grille, are brought to life in LEGO form with air vents mounted on the wheel arches and Bolide’s trademark X motifs as stickers. A large air intake, strategically designed as part of the roof, supplies air to the 8.0-liter W16 four-turbocharged engine. It gently curves into a stabilizing tail fin while using a huge fixed rear wing to generate maximum downforce. The X-shaped design of the taillights creates a recognizable visual identity.

Niels Henrik Horsted, Head of Product LEGO Technic & Speed Champions, said: “I am very excited about this new model. Our LEGO Technic designers have done an amazing job capturing the details of this extreme Bugatti design. With LEGO bricks you can build anything you can imagine, and with LEGO Technic elements, you can build for real. I’ve always been passionate about engineering and this model’s details and design are absolutely fascinating – I can’t wait to start building it myself.”

The Bolide is unique in every way, with Bugatti’s unsurpassed race-focused performance, power, design and handling.

After a surprise appearance in 2021 at The Quail in Monterey, California when the limited edition was announced, demand for the bolide was unprecedented and immediate. By the end of Monterey Car Week, all 40 examples of this radically light, track-oriented Bugatti had sold for four million euros each. The first deliveries are planned for 2024.

A year earlier, the bolide made its global debut as the most extreme Bugatti ever built by the French luxury brand. Bugatti engineers and designers have perfected the lightest and most track-focused Bugatti ever, using the legendary W16 four-cylinder engine to power the beating heart of the bolide.

The new LEGO® Technic™ Bugatti racing car is available in all international markets and from authorized retailers.
