Daniel Valencia, better known as DANEON, is a Colombian singer-songwriter and music producer, who has stood out in the music industry for his dominance in the fusion of genres such as Pop, R&B, Reggaeton and the traditional rhythms of Latin music. His music has transcended international levels, as several of his compositions and productions have stood out behind the hits of artists Marc Anthony, Bad Bunny, Will Smith, Karol G, DJ Blass and Llane. In addition, he participated in the sound engineering of productions of Daddy Yankee, Dj Blass, Ivy Queen, Jay Cortez, Karol G, Maluma, Nicky Jam, Wisin, Tainy, Zion & amp; Lenox, among others.
From his upbringing between Colombia and Venezuela, Daneon grew up exposed to traditional Latin music, such as ballads and boleros, as well as the rhythms of international popular music. He was surrounded by influences from mainstream artists such as the Beatles, Michael Jackson, John Mayer, and Bob Marley. In the same way, he was very influenced by Latin icons such as Maná, Shakira, Fito Paez, Juanes, among others.
His studies at the university between Colombia and the United States made him a professional in classical music, and the production of commercial music. Years later DANEON managed to establish himself between the cities of Miami and New York as a producer and DJ, with his own artistic project of Pop / Electronic music, and at the same time he embarked on his path in musical production with artists of the Reggaeton genre.
DANEON’s career grew exponentially in 2017 with his own releases such as “Easy To Love” with Robson, “Esto Se Va A Descontrolar” with Los Ajenos, and “Destination Miami” with Maahez and Chris Marsh. Likewise, DANEON highlighted his talent in the vocal production of the hit “A Ella” by Karol G, a song that achieved Gold and Platinum certification by the RIAA, and was positioned on the Billboard “Latin Pop Airplay” list. He also participated in the sound engineering of the international hit “Subeme La Radio” by Enrique Iglesias.
In 2018, the artist released his first EP, entitled “Avalanche” with which he reaffirmed his mastery of the fusions between electronic pop and the fresh rhythms of reggaetón. That same year DANEON included a major milestone for his career collaborating on the Latin remix of the international double platinum hit, “Lights Down Low” with American artist MAX and Argentine singer TINI. This remix reached more than 3 million views on the Spotify platform and more than 1 million views on YouTube.
He also participated as composer and producer of the international hit “Está Rico” by Marc Anthony along with Will Smith and Bad Bunny. This single conquered massive audiences worldwide, debuting # 2 on Billboard’s “Latin Digital Song Sales” chart and # 5 on the prominent “Hot Latin Songs” listing. Also, this song was the opening of the 2018 Latin GRAMMYs ceremony.
Hits continued to add up for DANEON’s career in 2019, with the releases of his songs, “Fine” featuring UNOMAS, and “Love Don’t Cost A Thing” featuring Daramola. Both songs got thousands of reproductions on digital platforms. During that same year, DANEON traveled around the United States and Europe, seeking to explore new sounds and prepare for the production of their new record material.
In early 2020, DANEON released their most recent single, “La Uva” in collaboration with multi-platinum producers Afro Bros and Dominican artist Gio Bulla; getting more than 300 thousand views on Spotify and more than 500 thousand on YouTube. Later, he participated as composer and producer of the song “Como Before” by the Colombian singer Llane, which has obtained more than 3.4 million views on YouTube since its premiere.
The artist is currently preparing for the release of his new music, which is expected in the last quarter of this year. In these new productions, DANEON will not only be the producer and composer of the same, but will also debut for the first time as a lead singer in his music, bringing to life the most authentic and innovative sounds of his career.
