The young Barranquilla singer-songwriter Giulianna never ceases to amaze us with this first single UTOPIA. Giulianna has always been passionate about music and says she sings since she was in her mom’s belly. For her, music is a way to heal and express herself. He started writing music at the age of 9, trying to find his identity as an artist and believes that at this moment he finally found it.
At his young age, he has had the privilege of singing, cheering and presenting on stages and small national and international events or with more than 10,000 people in the audience with musical shows adapted for each occasion. She is also recognized for her participation in the reality show “La Voz Kids” in which she left a great memory thanks to her personality and charisma. He will be releasing his first album with which he has been working during these last two years of pandemic and starts with this first single UTOPIA which is his way of saying that his musical world is everything, even though he is not perfect and does not have everything he wants.
Giulianna chose UTOPIA as her first song, because it is about emotions and experiences lived by young people, which will make you live the present or lead you to remember your past and explore in your memories.
“I wrote this song while I was at a point in my life where I wanted to do so much, but none of that was possible because of the pandemic we were experiencing, which made me feel very frustrated and thought about the people who were out there, feeling the same as me. I was checking social media and feeling uncomfortable not having that perfect life, but fortunately I managed to realize that I couldn’t live with the idea of an unobstructed world, but I had to live the reality and I wanted to share it with all of you in this song.”
The video is performed by Giulianna and shows us part of the artistic process of the teenage girl who dreams of being a great artist and works every day to build and achieve that dream. It was shot in the city of Barranquilla by the Room Films team and was directed by Jorge Roa Hoenigsberg.
