The international design event returns for its 19th edition
Sant’Agata Bolognese/Mantua, 28 October 2022 – Automobili Lamborghini participated in the XIX Autostyle Design Competition sponsored event organized by Berman S.p.A. to showcase the latest innovative and avant-garde projects of leading designers in an exclusive and professional environment.
The event took place on October 27 at Villa Schiarino Lena, an exclusive residence outside Mantua. The day’s events included inspiring exchanges on design and new creative perspectives. Automobili Lamborghini Design Director and enthusiastic supporter of the event, Mitja Borkert, talks about the design DNA of the Sant’Agata Bolognese House and presents the Countach LPI 800-4, Huracán Tecnica and the latest Urus Performante model: “Berman Autostyle for my team and I is not only a precious opportunity to illustrate the strength and uniqueness of the brand identity through every peculiarity of its design, but also an opportunity to encounter the greatest exponents of car design at an international level.”
Continuing the online events of the past two years, this year will offer clips from the designer exhibitions of the past two years to continue to engage with an international audience from all over the world for the past two events on the Berman Autostyle YouTube channel presented and commented by Alessio Tommasetti .
Autostyle Design Competition – Berman S.p.A.
The event was born in 2004 thanks to the enthusiasm of Professor Roberto Artioli, president of Berman S.p.A., which produces OEM parts for some of the world’s largest automakers. Past editions took place in villas in the area around the Italian city of Mantua, where different design centers of major companies in the field presented new cars or prototype designs to an audience consisting of professional designers, students or just car enthusiasts. At the end of the event, a jury of design leaders will present awards to the 12 students who entered the Autostyle design competition. Thanks to this opportunity, some of the previous winners have already secured key positions in the automaker.
