Borgo Panigale (Bologna, Italy), March 6, 2023 – The production of the new Ducati Scramblers, already featured in the seventh edition of the Ducati World Premiere 2023, has started at the Borgo Panigale factory, the energy that has made this family world famous has made over 100,000 enthusiasts. A distinctive, dynamic, affordable and safe motorcycle for everyday use, with a new exciting and modern design, created for those who seek freedom and want to express their lifestyle through their choices.
The production of the first example was celebrated in the new building of Finitura e Delibera Estetica with an event in perfect Ducati Scrambler style. After the traditional “christening” by CEO Claudio Domenicali, the ceremony turned into a party animated by music, where all employees could admire all nine colors of the new Ducati Scrambler as a preview.
The customization options that have always been the hallmark of the Ducati Scrambler are further expanded in the second generation with the new icon tank. The colored part is an easily replaceable cover, as are the fenders, rim labels and headlight covers. Thus, the appearance of the Ducati Scrambler can easily be adapted to any taste. The three basic colors (62 Yellow, Thrilling Black and Ducati Red) are joined by six others (Storm Green, Rio Celeste, Tangerine Orange, Jade Green, Brilliant Blue, Velvet Red) available as an accessory kit, the new Ducati Scrambler -Emblem nine different colors.
With a weight reduction of 4 kg, the new Ride-by-Wire system and the Quick Shift accessory, the Ducati Scrambler offers a better driving experience. In addition, thanks to riding modes, Ducati Traction Control and a new colored TFT instrument panel, it has become safer, more modern, more digital and more technologically advanced. And all this without losing the simplicity and authenticity that have always been core values for all Ducati Scrambler enthusiasts. The air-cooled two-cylinder Desmodue engine, the lattice frame, the wide handlebars, the low center of gravity and driving pleasure remain important features of the new generation Ducati Scrambler.
This recipe resulted in three new Ducati Scramblers: Icon, Full Throttle and Nightshift. Three bikes with different designs, combined with a relaxed fit and low weight, will make riding fun for riders of all experience and abilities on both city trips and out-of-town excursions.
