The new 2,200-square-meter building in Hamburg includes an 800-square-meter showroom, the largest of its kind for Bentley in Europe. The scenic structure includes green spaces and areas reserved for four bee colonies that produce ample Bentley Hamburger Honey. Featuring advanced ecological heating systems and building insulation, the new showroom complements Bentley’s Beyond100 strategy to become a global leader in sustainable luxury mobility and reshape every aspect of the business to become carbon neutral by 2030. Bentley set a record for sales in 2021 and a new all-time high in the first quarter of 2022, ahead of the €8.5 million investment in the Hamburg plant.

To celebrate the grand opening, the Bentley Mulliner Batur offers customers an almost endless range of exclusive options to further personalize their cars. A range of veneers available for the dashboard includes a new sustainable material for Bentley – natural fibre composite. Customers can also choose titanium for the signature organ stop ventilation handle and other elements, or even 3D printed 18k gold. The exclusive coupe is limited to 18 examples, all of which have been reserved by Bentley Mulliner customers. Batur’s new design DNA also shows the direction of future Bentley BEVs (battery electric vehicles).

The October 6 launch event will also showcase products co-developed by Bentley and Macallan design teams to Europe. The Macallan Horizon is the first limited edition single malt whisky created by the partners, presented in a revolutionary container that combines traditional craftsmanship, recycled materials and a unique horizontal design. The boat sits horizontally in a purpose-built cradle with no standing base. At the heart of the design is a handcrafted glass bottle with an extraordinary 180-degree rotation, representing McAllen and Bentley’s mastery of space and time when developing the prototype.

The vessel is then surrounded by an intricately twisted 3D structure made from a range of beautiful, sustainable materials.

Being the largest retailer in Europe, it does offer a stunning setting for the full Bentley range: Azure, S, Speed and Mulliner. This is another proof of the strong commitment from our retail partners to deliver the best Bentley customer experience possible. We are equally pleased to be able to showcase what Bentley does best and the world of possibilities with the Bentley Mulliner Batur or the Macallan Horizon. It is great to see Bentley models past and present gathered and we are looking forward to the reaction from customers, prospects and fans later today and wish the Bentley Hamburg team a great success.”
