Our readers would love to get to know you a bit better. Can you share with us the backstory of how you came upon this career path and to where you are today?
After running a fashion brand for many years, I really became interested in becoming an influencer. I was on serious personal and spiritual development path whenI started modeling. My following grew really quickly and I started talking about my spiritual path. Eventually, I started Life Coaching and now I’m writing a book on all things SEX!
What were you interested in during school before your modeling dreams took hold?
I was very interested in fashion, music, and sex, lol.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story about that?
I had no idea about the personal development when I was younger. My first yoge teacher training taught me so much. It blew my mind. After that I sought out the best teachers and keep on my journey of self-discovery.
Did you ever have anyone try to dissuade you from entering modeling? Did those close to you want to support you but not sure how?
I started modeling because several close girl Friends told me I should. If it hadn’t been for that I’m not sure I ever would have.
Was there a particular model you admired more so than another? Why?
Not in particular, but I always were attracted to many female models.
How important is self-promotion in your profession?
It’s really important these days. You basically are your Brand.
As an influencer, you have been blessed with great success in a career path that many have attempted, but eventually gave up on. In fact perhaps most people who tried to follow a career path like yours did not succeed. Do you have any words of advice for others who may want to embark on this career path but know that their dreams might be dashed?
Just try many things that you feel inspired to do because life will lead the way for you, but it can’t show you the way if you aren’t doing anything.
Would you like to see more women working behind-the-scenes in the modeling industry?
Yes, that would be great.
Can you share with our readers some of your strategies you’ve used to build an engaged, loyal, and large online community?
Just be yourself. Authenticity is everything. People can tell when you aren’t being authentic.
You are a busy person with a demanding schedule, can you share with our readers two self care routines, practices or treatments that help your body thrive?
Meditation & Movement. But, you need to find what works for you. There are many kinds of both. Lately, I’ve been doing a lot of guided meditations. For years I never used any audios, just total silence. Life is about flow, so if it’s not working for you, find what does. I love yoga and dance. I honestly don’t know how people can live without it.
Can you share with us two routines that you use to help your mind or heart to thrive?
We’ve all been programmed by the media, music, movies, etc. It’s really important to reprogram your mind with healthy and loving stories. Affirmations, hypnotherapy, and EFT tapping work well for this.
What was your most humorous moment during a photoshoot?
I can’t really recall at the momento.
Do people want to be your friend because you’re a cover model and how do you feel someone is genuine with you?
I don’t think that is why people what to be Friends with me. I can tell when they put in the effort.
What are your thoughts on there being more diversity and inclusiveness in the modeling industry today?
I would love to see more Asian people on covers and in the media in general.
What does your future look like?
I wish I could tell you. I’m just letting God, the universe guide me.
