Danika Jeneen Edwards also known as Dani, is an American fashion model, actress, businesswoman, and entertainment news host. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Dani began her career as a model early on at the age of 16, making a name for herself on the runway after marching down the catwalk for high-fashion designers during DC and NYC Fashion Week. Dani has been featured in major ads such as Puma and Athleta.
With her love and fondness for fashion, Dani embraced a new role of being an entrepreneur. “I launched my hat business called, The Dani Collection,” she shares. Shortly after Dani, began expanding her talents, inching her way to the big screen acting in films such as the Pigeon series and Dolemite starring Eddie Murphy.
Extending her love for entertainment and adding a feather to her cap, Dani became a host. “I cover major red carpets for the Grammys, Bet, and Oscar award shows.” She beams. Wishing to learn more about the entertainment business, in 2020 Dani graduated from College gaining a BA degree in Journalism and Business Management.
As she provides a new meaning to Renaissance women with the many hats she wears, we caught up with the beautiful lady to find out how she does it all. “I believe it’s a combination of God, foundation, family, love and passion.” Dani expresses a bright smile. Dani’s eyes light up as she conveys her mantra, “Everyone should stand for something or fall for anything.”
