What does it mean to you to be an actress?
It is everything, it is my method of life, it is what I am, what fills me, it is what I live, what I eat, from what was generated in itself in its entirety, who I am.
What was your motivation to become an actress?
Well, I have always liked it since I was little, it was also a way to suddenly escape from reality, I am very shy and being an actress gave me the ease and tranquility of being able to do things that I would never have done, like talking, How to feel sexier, to feel alive in a different way, to silence my mind that is always criticizing and accusing me, acting gave me life.
Do you think there is an objective formula that allows anyone to achieve success?
Believe in yourself, that is success, believe that you can and when you trust in yourself, when you believe in God, you achieve success. What has been the role that has had the most impact on your professional career? My professional success was reflected in several productions such as “Tres Caínes”, where I was filled with good acting, allowing myself to direct and learn from others is incredible, “Francisco el Matemático” was my first real leading role, which made me explore a performance of Truly, a visceral performance.
What have you learned from your previous successes?
I have learned to listen, to lower my arrogance a little, to be more noble, that whenever I am on a set, or whatever, understand what my point is, what my role is within the production, know that, if I am an actress, I have to listen, I have to give, I have to learn and grow, each production leaves me a lesson in nobility.
Do you consider that recognition has true value when you receive it?
As an actor, one always expects recognition, yes, but sometimes I don’t know if it is more one’s own than that of others. It is valuing, learning to value what one has done and the path and trajectory one has taken, so yes, I know that recognition is valued. from the public, from colleagues on the management production team and even from oneself.
What would you give to actresses who want to become one?
The best adadvice vice is to study, to prepare yourself emotionally and mentally for what you are going to do; It is important that they believe in themselves and that this is about passion, being in this environment is so wonderful, but at the same time so difficult; It’s just loving it, embracing it and letting it flow to where it wants to take you, but you have to keep believing because many times you let your guard down.
What message do you leave the readers?
The message I leave you is to be happy with everything you do, to live a beautiful life, to learn, to teach, to love the people around you who value them, to not put off for later, that you have to learn to live the day by day and let it come with what has to come and take advantage of the fact that you have a very great gift and that is that every day is new and every day you can start again, forgive, hug, ask for forgiveness and amen.
