With nature in mind, adidas is focused on continuing the materials revolution that puts athletes and the planet first. Today, adidas’ journey beyond plastic continues with the launch of a special, nature-inspired collection of Adicross products by the Burning Cart Society.
The adidas x Burning Cart Society collection is one way adidas works with environmental partners like the Burning Cart Society to close the loop. Developed as part of the adicross range, this product is made partially from natural and renewable materials as part of adidas’ drive to develop limited resources and help eliminate plastic waste.
Sharing additional details about the collaboration, Shaun Madigan, Global Director of Apparel at adidas Golf, said: “We’re continuing to push forward with the way we use materials to ensure we’re designing products in balance with the planet. The adidas x Burning Cart Society collection includes a crew neck sweatshirt, t-shirt, polo shirt and bucket hat. The products include an image of a natural bunker and a flowering weed, reflecting the idea of the importance of the game being played in harmony with nature. Found on all products, this solitary flowering weed is a symbol to encourage golfers to remember the natural beauty that each course offers.
All garments in the collection are made from at least 70% natural and renewable materials and are offered in neutral and natural colours. All items will be available in unisex sizes for both men and women.
