Grail Watch brings to life three iconic chronographs – a new Lemania movement from old stock and a split-seconds hand – in homage to Franck Muller’s incredible design creativity.
Franck Muller has remained very faithful to the cases of the original watches and has chosen to make the watches 39 mm in diameter and as thin as possible so that they fit elegantly on the wrist.
These three chronographs have been crafted with sensitivity and respect for the past, and Franck Muller hopes they will connect their history to a new generation of collectors.
Watches 1 to 10 of each timepiece are sold in boxes of three, while watches numbered 11 to 30 in the double-face chronograph and number 11 in the two Lemania-based Franck Muller chronographs Watches up to 50 are sold as individual pieces.
The world was clearly enthusiastic about all things ’90s, like the Porsche 993 Turbo S and Ferrari 550 Maranello. In fact, the 90s are also recognized as the happy age of watches, and the king of independent watchmaking in the 90s and the unrivaled rock star in the high-end watch industry is none other than Franck Muller.
Muller was a watchmaking genius of the 20th century. Brash, bold and fearless, Franck Muller was the first watchmaker to achieve instant international acclaim and a huge following in fashion and Hollywood high society, from Gianni Versace to Everyone who went to Elton John became an evangelical in no time.
