Yilena Hernández is a model, actress, entrepreneur, and international influencer who was born and raised in Holguin, Cuba. At the age of 15, she began her successful career as an international model. She has established herself as a powerful Influencer and is known as “The Cuban Barbie.
Yilena was born on June 26 in Holguín, Cuba. Since she was a child she showed a lot of talent in the art of acting; However, at the age of 15 after winning a Beauty contest, she would start her career as a model. In 2009 she packed her suitcases full of dreams and decided to go after them moving to the United States.
Her beginnings in a foreign country were a challenge to make her way in the world of fashion but this did not stop her, so she participated in several Beauty contests in which she was Miss international Bikini and because of the resemblance to the doll Barbie began to be recognized for “The Cuban Barbie”. Yilena Hernández has been invited as an influencer in catwalks by haute couture designers such as: Tom Ford, Balmain and Roberto Cavalli. This Cuban model has made her way into the world of fashion in an impressive way, being the face of the well-known designer of stars, Willfredo Gerardo.
Yilena has worked as an international model throughout Europe and the United States walking the most important catwalks of the fashion world, such as Paris fashion week, New York fashion week, Milan fashion week, Los Angeles fashion week, and many more. She has been the cover of several prestigious magazines such as Playboy, FHM, Maxim, Ellements, Latina Attitude, Luxury Trending, Vogue, Elle, Vitality, Cosmopolitan, Men’s Health, Lifestyle, JMG. The Cuban Barbie has been invited to work on several television programs, some of which are “Giant Saturday”, “Latin Angels”, “Today”, “Take care of the camera” etc.
