MUSE, a Swiss watchmaking company founded in 2016 that combines watchmaking tradition with the modernity of contemporary art. Founders Pascal Robert and Frédéric Leuba were watchmaking engineers who created an innovative design that did away with traditional hands. Instead, it uses carefully crafted patterns that run in hours, minutes and seconds to create compositions that are in constant motion. The minute and hour hands are incorporated into the composition.
These models use a collector movement, ETA 2776, made between 1969 and 1982, known as the MU01. Hundreds of them were recovered by collectors. Men’s collections include Akylon, Tanoura and Kagura. MUSE also produces ladies’ watches with mineral dials and mechanical movements in the Stella, Tanoura and Stella S collections.
